Course Description

Expert authors Chris Minnick & Eva Holland will show you how to build mobile web apps that can run on multiple operating systems. This course is for absolute beginners, so no previous web development experience is required.
The course will begin by introducing you to the three types of mobile apps. Next, you will learn how to design your own app. You will learn how to design, develop, and deploy a mobile ToDo List app. Minnick and Holland will show you how you can prototype the ToDo app and how to set up your development environment. This tutorial will also show you HTML5, how to style your app with CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery Mobile. You will also learn mobile optimization techniques and how to upload your app to the internet.

After completing this computer-based training course, your mobile web app creation skills will be fully developed. You can follow along with the authors during the lessons by downloading the working files.
