Course Description

Active Directory (AD in Windows) or Open Directory in Mac OS X stores information about users and groups, computers, and servers within a secure central directory service structure. This allows users to access resources on all servers in the network using a single account and password. This course, Connecting our Macs to Directory Services will show you how to connect your Mac OS X device into Windows Active Directory and OS X Open Directory. This course is the first in a series of eight courses that will help you prepare to take the ACA-Mac Integration exam. This course will help you connect your Mac to the Active and Open Directories. It also teaches you how to use the Command Line Interface and troubleshoot connectivity problems. This course will help you to better understand how to connect your Mac with Directory Services. It will also prepare you for the exam.
