Course Description

This class covers Motion Comics and will help you bring comic panels to life. This section will use Adobe Character Animator to animate comic characters' faces and mouths using motion capture technology. This allows us to create fully animated talking heads that can swing hair and blink eyes. All of this is controlled by our facial movements and lip sync sounds.

We'll also be covering designing the Character Animator puppets in Photoshop as well as bringing the scene into After Effects!

If you haven’t seen Part 1 of "Creating Motion Comics", I highly recommend it. Pt. 1 of "Creating Motion Comics" is highly recommended. It explains what motion comics are, how they can be used to create frames in Photoshop, and why they are a great alternative to traditional animation.
