Course Description

Four courses are called DeFi and the Future of Finance. They focus on decentralized finance. DeFi Opportunities and Risks is the final course. It is important that you take the following courses: I. DeFi Infrastructure II. DeFi Primitives, and III. Before beginning the fourth course, DeFi Deep Dive. This course begins with the assumption that any analysis of any new technology should clearly assess the risks and potential challenges. DeFi is a relatively new technology with many risks. Smart contract risk is the first and most obvious risk. DeFi is built on smart contracts. These contracts' code is open to hackers, opening up a wide attack channel for them. Hackers need to hack into traditional finance systems to gain access to code and data. DeFi is an open-source system.
