Introduction

What is Azure Virtual Machine?

Azure Virtual Machines (VM), a cloud-based, scalable computing resource, is what Azure offers. VMs are typically chosen when you have more control over your computing environment.

Azure VM allows you to virtualize without the need to purchase and maintain physical hardware. You still have to manage the VM, including configuring, patching and installing the software.
