Course Description

DevOps within the Cloud LiveLessons shows viewers how to create a continuous delivery platform for a software application written in Ruby on Rails. There are also examples in other development platforms like Grails or Java on the companion website. These applications are deployed to Amazon Web Services, which is also known as an infrastructure as a services (AWS). Paul M. Duvall walks viewers through the components of this platform, including environments, continuous integration, build-and-deploy scripting, testing, and database. Viewers will also learn about configuration management and collaboration techniques, as well as the nascent terms DevOps (continuous delivery and continuous deployment). This LiveLesson will focus on cloud deployment and viewers will learn about the various services that make up AWS' cloud infrastructure. DevOps and Cloud LiveLessons features contributions from Brian Jakovich, a Continuous Delivery Engineer at Stelligent. Visit www.devopscloud.com for the complete continuous delivery platform examples used in these LiveLessons. Mozilla Firefox is the best browser to view this website.
