If your goal is to be a graphic artist, or a graphic designer in the future, creating a logo will be one of your most important tasks.
This class will teach you how to create custom logos that will impress clients and help you get more work as a graphic artist.
These skills can be used in many different ways. You can also follow along with the class. We'll do a few things.
- We'll be starting by jumping in with a notebook or piece of paper to sketch some ideas.
- Next, we'll use an iPad for a while and I will show how to create digital art with that tool. You can use Procreate, Adobe Fresco, and even Illustrator on your iPad.
- You might have a Wacom tablet. I will show you how to use it for logo design.
- Next, we will use Adobe Illustrator for a well-rounded artboard. Then, we will create a beautiful, packaged logo.
You might not be an "artist". Perhaps you are terrible at art, just like me when I started out. Don't worry if that's the case. I will show you how to use design software to produce beautiful, polished work even if your skills are limited to sketching.
I am so happy to have you in the class - let us make some cool logos!
Requirements
For the main logo design, we will use Adobe Illustrator on a desktop computer. I'll also show how to use Procreate and Adobe Fresco on an iPad. You don't need an iPad to complete this course. It's just another tool you could use to create your logo, if you have one.
