Course Description

This course will introduce you to modern genomics' basic biology and the experimental tools we use to measure it. The Central Dogma of Molecular Biology will be introduced and we'll discuss how next-generation sequencing can help to measure DNA, RNA and epigenetic patterns. A brief introduction to computing and data science will be provided to help you understand how next-generation sequencing data is generated and analyzed.
