Course Description

This tutorial will provide an introduction to Softimage's rigging tools. We will start with the basics. This includes how to set solid naming conventions, manage rigs, and how to use Softimage's tools and constraints. Then, we'll cover advanced topics such as how to set up an enhanced IK system, use Expressions to create fleshy-eye systems, and other weight-painting and enveloping techniques. You will also learn how to make animator-friendly rigs. You will feel confident enough to use Softimage's rigging tools to create your own control rigs by the end. Autodesk Softimage 2014 is required.
