Course Description

This course covers the basics of image creation using Image Builder Wizard (IBW), and Image Configuration editor (ICE). It also covers advanced areas in embedded operating system development. You will learn how to create systems that can withstand extreme environments and protect them. To ensure a customized user experience, embed enabling features can be used to boot systems into a custom shell application. This includes auto-logon, write protection partitions and suppression/replacement of Windows common branding elements. Management and maintenance in the factory and on the field are another important focus of this course. They help to provide a complete picture of embedded systems' life cycles. Each topic is explained with examples from real-world projects.
