Course Description

Welcome to Course 2 in Introduction to Applied Cryptography. This course will introduce you to the basic mathematical principles and functions that are the basis for cryptographic and other cryptanalysis techniques. These functions and principles will help you understand the symmetric and asymmetric cryptographic techniques that were covered in Course 3 and 4. These topics will be especially helpful if you're new to cybersecurity. It is recommended to have basic knowledge in computer science and basic math skills, such as algebra and probabilities.
