Course Description

This tutorial will show you how to use Revit to model a steel tower. Starting from the ground, we'll build structural foundations. We'll then attach the columns to the footings using anchor bolts and base plates. After the columns have been placed, we will learn how to connect beams to them. Open web joists can be used as structural elements to support the floor and roof of our structure. We will also place some steel ladders in our model for access to the top and bottom of the tower. These tools and skills will allow you to create your own steel structure in Revit. Software needed: Revit 2014.
