Course Description

Through a series guided exercises, you will learn the basics of aggregate storage database design. Next, you will learn how to load, report from and manage aggregate storage databases. Finally, you will construct the 16-dimension in-class database by following a series of guided tasks.

Learn how to:

  • Construct, develop, deploy and maintain aggregate storage databases
  • Manage aggregate storage databases
  • Use MDX to calculate variance, mix, or other member calculations
  • Implement time intelligence for time period reporting
  • Define custom calculations and allocations within aggregate storage databases

You will also find additional topics that provide an in-depth look at (and practice in) key elements of ASO development such as complex member formulas and time intelligence.
