Course Description

This course introduces you to the physics behind rotational motion and gravitation. Learners will be able to understand how mathematical laws and conservation principles explain the motions of objects around us. They will be able to solve physics problems using tools such as algebra, vector analysis and calculus. This course is third in the Physics 101 specialization. It follows the usual progression of topics for a university physics course, including Kinematics and Newton's laws, energy, and momentum. Each module contains links to a free textbook and complete video lectures. There are also conceptual quizzes and homework problems. The course concludes with an exam after each module has been completed. This course is very similar to the ones taught on campus in terms of detail and rigor. This course will prepare students for their upcoming introductory and advanced physics courses.
