Course Description

This guided project will teach you how to create a precedence network diagram. For more information on creating a WBS, see Guided Project: Creating one. Next, you will need to decompose the WBS's lower elements into the activities. The logic of the work will guide you in arranging the activities and deciding which should be done in a specific order. You will examine the various types of task relationships and make use of them when necessary. You will complete the task (we use task and activity interchangeably), the definition in Google Docs, and the generation of the network (we will use Project Libre as an open-source tool, but the concepts can also be used with other tools). Note: This course is best for learners who live in the North America region. We are currently working to offer the same experience in other areas.
