Course Description

The advent of high-resolution sculpting software programs like Mudbox makes it possible to send modeled assets through a production pipeline even though they are in their original state. To make the model more efficient for pipelines, a variety of tools can be used. There are many ways to create this geometry. It is important that we choose the right method for us. This course will cover the Mudbox 2014 tools that allow us to change the topology of our sculpted Meshes. We will start with an overview of the automatic Retopologize operation, and how it can quickly create new edges flows. We will learn how to use curves as a guide for the new topology. Additionally, we will discuss specific situations in which a new topology may be necessary. Learn how to project different types of detail into new meshes. Additionally, we'll learn how to use curves to create accessories or clothing. Finally, we will also learn how to reduce our geometry to export. You'll be able to use the Mudbox 2014 tools to create new topologies. Mudbox 2014 requires software
