Course Description

Architecture refers to the arrangement of software components, such as subroutines and classes, functions, and functions. Architecture is the way that software components -- subroutines, classes, functions, etc. -- are organized and interacted with each other. This course will teach you how these architectures can be represented in UML and other visual tools. We will discuss the most popular architectures and their characteristics, as well as tradeoffs. We'll discuss how architectures are evaluated and what qualities make a good one. And how an architecture can be improved. We will also discuss how architecture impacts the software development process.
