Course Description

SDN (Software Defined Networking), abstracts the physical equipment from the network infrastructure. This allows network system administrators to maintain the networking environment acrossmulitplevendors andhardware,and operating systems and versions. This course is for advanced Network Engineers and Developers who are interested in modeling in Open Source Software Defined Networking. First, we will discuss the components of SDN and then move on to the modeling in OpenDaylight. The course ends with the creation of an application.

OpenDaylight, an open networking platform, enables SDN and provides a solid foundation to NFV (Network Functions Virtualization). It is suitable for all sizes of networks.
