Course Description

To allow for player movement, a pathfinding system is required to control character movements in click-to-move top down games. This course, Swords and Shovels Character Control and AI, will teach you how to use Navmesh and Navmesh agents to set up character animation and code to create a character control. You'll first learn how to bake a Navmesh within a game level. Next, you will learn how to use a Navmesh agent and animation to control characters movement. You'll also learn how to code the system and tweak it. After the course is over, you will be able to create a top-down character control. Unity is required.
