Course Description

This course will teach you how to teach reading and writing, as well as how to incorporate grammar instruction into your courses. You will learn how to assist students with different types of reading difficulties and how to use both intensive and comprehensive reading strategies. Learn strategies to engage students in the stages of writing--pre-writing, writing, and post-writing. Learn about the different writing issues that students might encounter. Use noticing and input enhancement to incorporate grammar.
