Course Description

You want to get the most value for your money. Where should you buy a house? A map might be the best place to start. Because of the many objects in R, spatial analysis can be difficult.

This course will introduce you to spatial data. The course starts with data frames, which are objects that you already know. It then moves to special objects in the SP and raster packs that are used for representing spatial data in R. Finally it will allow you to use tmap when creating maps.

By the end of the course, you will be able create maps of small towns, North East USA population distributions, North American people distributions, and New York City median income neighborhoods.
