Agile Coach

Agile coaches are trainers for corporate employees who work with employees on site to ensure that they are able to provide the best implementation of corporate guidelines. These "coaches" typically are employed to make significant improvements in motivation, skills, or social proficiency in employees They also tend to have profiles on the internet prior to being employed. There are three types of coaches that have more distinct areas of knowledge Technical coaches are able to work with developers and must be knowledgeable about integration and coding; process/management coaches offer guidance on the management and implementation of projects while non-directive coaches offer individual assistance to those looking to resolve various personal issues.

• Identify the risks that could impact the progress of Agile processes, such as communication gaps between teams or unclear goals, and propose mitigation strategies.
• Agile coaches create and implement Agile frameworks that meet team requirements, such as Scrum, Kanban, or Scaled Agile Frameworks (SAFe).
• Provide education and training to teams on Agile methodologies and frameworks, as well as assist in embedding an Agile mindset into their culture.

Major educational qualifications required for Agile Coach are:

• A bachelor's level degree in computing science or in information technology or another related field is preferred.
• Certified scrum master, SAFe preferred.
• Three years or more working experience in the role of scrum master, or in a similar position.
• Experience with agile methodologies tools, techniques and frameworks like Scrum or Kanban and delivering solutions.

• Scrum Master: Facilitates Scrum ceremonies and supports team members in adopting Agile practices.
• Agile Project Manager: Manages Agile projects and ensures that sprints are completed on time and within budget.
• Product Owner: Represents customer needs and manages the backlog to ensure the team creates a quality product.
• Agile Quality Assurance Analyst: Automates testing and works with developers to ensure quality code.

The Agile Coach role is on the rise in India, with a predicted growth of 25% in the next 10 years. The demand for Agile Coaches is driven by the increasing number of companies adopting Agile methodologies. According to Glassdoor, there are currently over 900 job openings for Agile Coaches in India. The average salary for this role in India is INR 15,00,000 per year.
