Middle School Teacher

Middle School Teachers educate students typically in fifth through seventh grades. They work in both public and private schools. Most of them only work during the summer. Teachers are responsible for a few subjects in many schools, especially middle school.

Middle School Teachers progress in their careers in many ways. They can move into an administration role, such as Head of the Department (HOD) or Assistant Principal. They can also specialize in a teaching area, such as guiding gifted and talented students. After a few years of experience, some middle school teachers advance to senior-level roles, such as School Counselors or Curriculum Coordinators.
