Chief operating officers (COO) are responsible for managing and planning all business activities and projects. They are accountable for establishing operational strategies that increase the profits for their company and actively participate in efforts of the company to improve the brand's popularity. They collaborate together with chief financial officers to ensure transparency in financial and expense reports. COOs should have excellent interpersonal and communication abilities. They must also be well-organized, analytical, and have previous experience in managing a large number of employees to achieve the company's goals.
