Animate a Walk Cycle Frame-By-Frame in Adobe Animate

It is very important to be able to use many different animation techniques in motion design. While you can work with rigged characters for most projects a hand-drawn animation can add personality and life to the project. Clients love it when it's done right!

This class is for you if you don't know how to begin hand-drawn animation character animation or aren't familiar with Adobe Animate's tools.

It's difficult to distill the many aspects of character animation into a single class. The plan is to create a class that teaches you how to make a character walk cycle in 12 drawings. We'll begin by designing a fun character. Then we'll move on to the steps of creating a great walk cycle you can share with friends, coworkers and potential clients.

We'll be covering animation basics like Stretch and Squash, overlapping action and anticipation, as we also learn a few tricks in Adobe Animate CC. But most importantly, we'll have a finished, hand-animated walkcycle that loops and can be shared.
