Hello and welcome to the Blender2.8 A Beginners Complete SciFi Scene 3D Modelling and Animation Guide. This course was my attempt to explore a new art form and move to pastures new. After having previously focused on the medieval genre in my courses, I decided to take my students on an adventure into the sci-fi world. We are learning together and you will find solutions to common problems through trial and error.
This is one my most exciting courses to date. This course is similar to my Blender2.8 Model Texture Animation & Simulate Complete guide. I will take you on a 3D modelling journey that includes texturing, animation, lighting, and rendering a scifi scene. This course offers over 20 hours of content that will help you improve your 3D animation, modeling, and simulation skills. This course will give you a complete understanding of modeling from the ground up and a fast workflow.
I used everything I had learned in previous courses, and mainly thanks to all of your helpful feedback, I was capable of creating a course that has the wow factor. You will be proud.
This is my most in-depth and beginner-friendly course. This course is designed to be accessible to anyone, regardless of their level in 3D modeling and teach them how to build models from scratch. The course contains nearly 20 hours of content. It is a comprehensive course that will take you to the next level. This course will take you on a journey of deep learning that focuses on the most important aspects 3D modeling and animation. The course will cover modeling, texturing and animation, lighting, rendering, and rendering. You will be able to create a professional-looking sci fi animated door scene by the end of this course.
This course took 3 months to create. This course is truly unique in comparison to other courses on the market. I hope you enjoy the course as much I enjoyed creating it.
Modelling :
We will create a sci-fi scene, a contraption that is reminiscent of popular films. This course will be available just a few months ahead of Cyberpunk 2077, a major game that will change the face of sci-fi. The sci-fi door that we will create will be more stylized than the general sci fi style.
Blender2.8 A Beginners Complete Sci Fi 3D Modelling and Animation Guide has a new learning structure that will be useful for beginners. This course is suitable for students who are more familiar with Blender software or who are transitioning to Blender.
This course will teach you everything you need to know about modeling. This course will teach you the basics of modeling and the tricks and tips that professionals use in Blender 2.8. This course will explain everything and include a step by step exploration of all the new shortcuts in Blender 2.8. An on-screen visual tooltip will help you keep up with the course's pace. You will never get lost if you need to know more. My goal is to have students recreate this sci-fi door and leave with a complete understanding of the why and how. The knowledge you have gained can be applied regardless of whether you are pursuing professional or amateur 3D modeling.
Texturing :
Texturing is one of the most important parts of any 3D model. I will show you how to prepare a mesh for adding materials. We will cover how to mark the mesh, correct texture resolutions and how to UV-unwrap. Each of these courses would be a separate course, so enrolling will allow you to expand your skills in a multifaceted manner. To save you time and avoid the usual trial-and-error process, I will show both the right and wrong ways to do this. You will be fully prepared to clean a 3D mesh to industry standards.
We will also be exploring the Blender 2.8 node systems in detail. You will learn how to import textures, maps, and how to modify the appearance of materials. We will also look at how to import and use specialized maps such as ambient occlusion, emission and emission.
Animation :
Do you want to learn how to create a complete animation cycle? This course will teach you how to create a complete animation cycle using Blender 2.8. We will be animating this sci-fi portal and creating its opening motion. This will require us to work hard to make each component move in a realistic way. You will be taught how to keyframe and learn about armatures, bones, and more. Next, we will cover the fundamentals of animations. Here you will learn how to attach bones to meshes and weight them. This is the exact same process used in Hollywood for computer-generated imagery (CGI) and the related gaming industry. These skills can be applied to any animations that you make in the future. I would love to see animations of other models uploaded as part of this course project.
Freebies :
This course includes a huge library of over 70 high resolution texture maps and decals that you can download completely free. These resources are available for free download and can be reused in other projects. These resources can also be used in the Sci-Fi Door Scene course project. You are encouraged to upload them as part of this course. These textures and resources were created using Substance Designer, Substance Painter and Photoshop. All textures included in this course are custom-made for this course.
Lighting :
Lighting is often overlooked. This is something I had to learn the hard way. Lighting is crucial for making a scene look realistic and beautiful. I went back to the drawing boards and honed my skills. Over time, I learned how to light scenes. I now pass this knowledge on to my students. Learn all about Blender 2.8 lighting effects and lighting effects.
Rendering :
After all the preparations to make a realistic sci-fi scene we will be rendering two stills using Blender cycles, one of the most powerful renderers in the world. This course will teach you how to create stunning scenes in both 'Eevee and 'Cycles' renders. The Blender 2.8 compositor will be used, and the course will show you how to maximize lighting in a render. We will also create a short animation film with Blender's built in video editing software. We will be setting up cameras, and I will show you how to improve the quality of your renders.
