Drawing Foundation Plans in AutoCAD

This tutorial will show you how to create a foundation plan using AutoCAD. The project will begin by opening an external reference file. Next, we'll set up some initial drawing layers to create the foundation plan. We'll then explore a few simple tools to create the foundation wall and footing for our floor plan. Next, we will create and place the footings in the exact places indicated on the floor plan. After we have the concrete laid and the hatch patterns applied, we will add text and dimensions to illustrate the foundation design. This course will teach you how to quickly and accurately draw foundation plans for almost any structure using a few tools. AutoCAD 2015 is required.
