Course Description

This series of tutorials will cover some of the techniques and tools you can use in MODO to create hard-surface models. Starting with reference images, we will discuss how to model within MODO viewports. Then, we'll begin to block-in the pieces of our project and then refine each one. To add depth and dimension to our polygon pieces, we'll use powerful tools such as Loop Slice, Bevel and Add Loop. We will discuss maintaining smooth contours, and how to adjust the hardness by using additional loops. For a faster and more flexible workflow, we'll be able to move polygons among mesh items. To create a mold look, we'll also be able to seamlessly connect multiple pieces. You will also learn how to create holes and openings in contoured surfaces. These tools and techniques can be applied to any hard-surface model. You'll also be able to quickly apply them to your projects. Modo 701.
