Course Description

Office Online Server (formerly known as Office Web Apps) is an Office server product that provides browser-based versions for Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Connecting Office Online Server with SharePoint, Exchange, or Skype for Business will allow you to add additional features to your existing deployment, as well as provide a better experience for your users. Office Online Server is required to enable the Durable Links functionality in SharePoint and offer Business Intelligence features. This course, Installing and Configuring Office Online Server will teach you the basics of Office Online Server. First, you'll learn how to create and architect an Office Online Server farm. Next, you will learn how to connect SharePoint and Exchange to your Office Online Server farm. You'll also learn how to manage, patch, and troubleshoot an Office Online Server deployment.
