Course Description

Supply chain analytics starts with inventory analytics. In trade industries, 30 to 50% of assets may be held in inventory. A good inventory management system can increase revenue by increasing product availability and variety, as well as reduce costs and accelerate cash cycles by reducing excess inventory and waste.

You will be able to use real-world examples (e.g. Amazon vs Macy's) to learn the skills and tools needed for data analytics to solve inventory problems. You will be able to answer these questions once you have completed the course: Which industries is inventory important for? 2. What can inventory do to a company's financial performance and profitability? 3. How can I tell if I have an inventory problem 4. How to categorize inventory and manage it appropriately? Note: This course is intended for beginners. It focuses on inventory problems rather than solving them. We believe that solving a problem is just as important as finding the solution. We plan to expand the course or launch new courses in the future to provide more advanced inventory solutions.
