Course Description

This specialization will teach you essential leadership skills such as how to motivate and inspire others, manage talent, influence people without authority and lead teams. This specialization will allow you to learn not only from Michigan faculty but also from other leaders. Learn from outstanding leaders like Jeff Brodsky, the Global Head of HR at Morgan Stanley, or John Beilein, the Head Coach of University of Michigan Men's basketball Team. We will share our research and help you apply the insights to your leadership and team management. Through a series leadership assignments, every course will give you the opportunity to develop your leadership skills. The capstone will allow you to solve real leadership problems faced by top executives from Fortune 500 companies and receive feedback about your ideas and solutions. Top students completing the Specialization will be eligible to receive one or more of the following: office hours with your faculty, one credit toward Michigan Ross' Distinguished Leader certificate, a waived application fee to Michigan Ross graduate programs, or a LinkedIn recommendation/endorsement by Ross faculty.
