Course Description

This series of Softimage tutorials will show you how Softimage can be used for modeling a cartoony character that allows for animating to a wide variety of emotions and movements. It's nice to have a character you can work with when animating or rigging. These tutorials will show you how to build a basic character with emotive eyebrows and eyes. Once this is complete, you can rig it and then animated it. We'll be discussing how to build the head, body and arms as well as connecting them together. We will discuss the importance of topology in modeling and how it can affect the results of animation and rigging. Softimage 2010 is required software
