Course Description

This course will teach you how to make a 3ds Max skateboard using a variety of NURBS techniques. NURBS geometry has many advantages over other building methods, but the process of creating NURBS geometry differs from the building of polygon or subd models. To build a skateboard, we will explore hard surface modeling using NURBS and spline techniques and 3ds Max. We will cover tools such as fillets and making NURBS primitives. After the course, you will have an understanding of NURBS building in 3ds Max. You'll also be able to use these tools in your own projects. Software required: 3ds max 2010 or higher.
