SC-900: Microsoft Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals

Identity is the new perimeter. To protect identity, infrastructure teams and application developers must pay attention to identity and the security tools that surround it. This course will cover various aspects of identity as well as security methods that protect it.

This course starts with concepts of security, compliance, identity. Security concepts, security methods, and Microsoft Security and Compliance Principles will be covered. In depth, you'll learn about the concepts of zero trust, shared responsibility, defense, and more.

Then, you'll be able to cover Microsoft Identity and Access Management Solutions. This course will cover identity concepts and principles, basic identity types, authentication, access management and identity protection, as well as the governance capabilities of Azure Active Directory.

Next is Microsoft Security Solutions. This includes basic security capabilities as well as security management capabilities for Azure and Azure Sentinel. Intune and Microsoft 365 are also included.

The final section will focus on Microsoft Compliance Solutions. After reviewing compliance management capabilities, you'll then take a look at Microsoft 365's capabilities in information protection and governance, inside and outside risk, audit, and audit.

This course will equip you with the knowledge and skills to pass the Microsoft SC 900 exam.
