The R Programming Environment

This course is a thorough introduction to R programming language with a special focus on R's use in data science software development. This course is for all levels of R, whether you're part of a team working in data science or a single developer. This course is the foundation for all subsequent courses in the Specialization. We will cover the basics of R and language, as well as key concepts such tidy data and related "tidyverse” tools. Also, we will discuss processing and manipulating large and complex datasets, textual data handling, and basic data science tasks. After completing this course, learners will be fluent in R and able to create tidy data sets from a variety of sources.
