Course Description

Type is the most important factor in ensuring that your customers and users retain their information and have a pleasant experience. This course will teach you how to think about type on the internet by looking at the various contexts in which it is used. We will discuss how the browser renders fonts, the different ways to use and pair fonts on the internet, and how we can improve typography for the web by using readability, hierarchy contrast, contrast, white space, and other techniques. The tutorial assumes that you have some knowledge about typography. Some concepts and discussions are done using basic CSS.
