Course Description

Dynamo is a powerful visual programming plugin that allows you to model complex architectural forms in Revit. Visual Programming Introduction with Dynamo & Revit will teach you about Dynamo, its underlying structure, functions and performance as well as how to use it within an architectural environment. Users will first learn how to insert, find, and organize nodes in a sketch. Then, you will get an explanation of the types of data Dynamo will compute and how to modify its organization/grouping with the goal of understanding how to apply these organizational principles to a Geometrical Pattern. You will then create a structural framework, learn how to use normals and vectors to help you integrate Revit geometry into a live modeling environment. You will be able use Dynamo to bring your most complex forms to life in Revit by the end of this course.
