A personal assistant’s job can be varied, depending on what is required by their employer. They may answer phone calls, take messages, take various notes, and schedule meetings. They may also run errands, such as going to the bank to deposit checks on behalf of their employer, picking up lunch, and picking up their children from school. Their job is to provide services that relieve their employer from having to do various tasks.

  • Screen and prioritize incoming calls, emails, and correspondence for the executive, providing timely responses and filtering relevant information. Act as a gatekeeper, managing communication flow and ensuring the executive's time is well-managed.
  • Prepare and edit documents, presentations, and reports on behalf of the executive, maintaining accuracy and confidentiality. Assist in creating polished and professional materials, maintaining attention to detail.
  • Arrange complex travel itineraries, including flights, accommodations, and transportation, while considering time constraints and cost-effectiveness.
