A clinical nurse manager is a higher-level, managerial position in a hospital. You are no longer performing numerous shifts taking care of patients, but you are involved more in the coordination of nurses and in hospital management. You are responsible for creating schedules for the nurses working underneath you, in addition to fielding complaints and questions from any of them. In order to be considered for this job, you should have a bachelor's degree in nursing. You will usually be required to be in the hospital during business hours, but you may be required to work overnights or weekends.
