Operations Technician

An operations technician performs a number of tasks on the production floor of a manufacturing facility. While automation has replaced much of the labor performed at manufacturing plants, humans are still necessary to ensure that more fragile parts of a product are properly handled and that machinery is placing parts together correctly.

An operations technician performs a variety of functions on the manufacturing floor between automated stages or tasks.
