Manufacturing quality assurance inspectors are responsible for overseeing quality in their organization's manufacturing processes. They test all manufactured products and processing materials, ensuring that the end result has the required dimensions, weight, and quality (among other specifications) required by their organization. These quality assurance inspectors also review purchase orders to provide quality assurance support to other departments. as well as evaluate, and complete special inspections and other customer paperwork. They carefully inspect all parts needed for manufacturing to ensure the highest quality production environment. Another of their main responsibilities include writing and preparing reports that detail their results after inspection. They also read invoices, pack slips, and other complex customer supplied data.
