Course Overview
SAP FICO Online Training is an online, self-paced, and certified SAP FICO Training course by Henry Harvin. Now, training and exam preparation are two different things. This course is purely training-based, which means exam preparation with the help of this is not recommended.
In training, you will only be acquainted with SAP HANA Application, while your exam preparation will also demand integration points with other modules and migration of your legacy systems.
SAP FICO Online Training is an intermediate course in terms of difficulty, and Henry Harvin also provides 3-month access to remote desktops that run SAP. I would recommend extending your access until you clear your certification.
"The SAP training course helped me improve my analytical skills and my problem-solving skills. I have been able to implement numerous data managing techniques in my workplace as well thanks to this course."

Course Structure
It took me 3.5 months to complete this SAP FICO online course. I had enrolled for the weekend batch, and the classes were 3 hours long. I do not recommend this strategy if you are a working professional like me. I used to watch the recorded sessions for 1 to 2 hours each day, including notes.
The course starts by discussing the history of SAP and defining companies and codes in the software. By the end, you would have fully set up the Finance and Controlling of a company that you created as a project in the course. You progress as the class progresses. Once you are done with your weekend SAP FICO training online class, you are expected to incorporate your learning into your company code as a weekly assignment.
In case of any doubts, you will be given a chance to converse with the faculty in the following class. The distribution of study materials and notes varies with the faculty. My instructors shared notes with the class via email.
Insider Tips
I have included some important tips that I think you might find useful to get the best out of this SAP FICO training online course.
- Use Excel: Sometimes, even after studying a topic, you might feel lost when trying to project what you learn practically. This is why I recommend using excel to note down the T-codes, paths and relevant descriptions you get to study in class.
- Maintain Notes: I highly recommend maintaining both theory notes and conceptual notes to help you retain what you learn in class more efficiently.
- Revise Thoroughly: Practice what you learned after the class ends. Recall the topics discussed in class and write them down.
- Prerequisites: If you don’t have a background in Accounting, I recommend completing the following courses online
- IFRS Certification Course Training | ACCA Diploma IFRS Course - Henry Harvin
- Certificate in Ind-AS [eLearning]
- Certificate in IFRS
Final Take
I'm currently working as a Costing Executive at a private company that manufactures biscuits and cookies. My job role does not require SAP, but SAP FICO online training helps me improve my analytical and problem-solving skills. I have implemented numerous data management techniques, making our workflow easier.
My company may switch to SAP in a few years, and being prepared could mean that I could better negotiate our company's needs with the SAP consultant. Entry jobs might become easier if you are a certified professional in any commerce-related field. There are around 14,000 certified SAP FICO consultants in India, and those who have an experience of over 20 years, easily bag an average of INR 80,00,000 per annum.
Entry-level jobs are scarce, and getting a break into the industry is the real challenge. However, the average SAP FICO consultant with no prior experience can earn up to INR 8,00,000 per annum with significant growth in the following years.
