Course Description

Virtual reality (VR) is a relatively new concept. This course, 360 VR Compositing In NUKE, will help you learn about this exciting new medium of filmmaking. You'll first learn about the basics of VR and how it differs from standard stereo projects. Next, you will use Maya to create your own VR stereo system. You'll then take a stereo render created in Maya and bring it to NUKE for discussion about the new VR compositing workflow. After completing this Virtual Reality course you will not only have an in-depth understanding of the new frontier but also have the ability to apply these techniques to your unique project. Required software: Maya 2016 and Nuke 9.0v4.
