Course Description

Do you have any formal education or training in hr? Are you looking to transition from engineering or education into a hr position? Are you looking to prove to your employer or future employer that the knowledge you have to support the hr department, and all business units that are dependent on it, is important? This course is right for you. This course is a quick introduction to human resources management. It can be viewed in just 5-10 minute lessons so that you can enjoy your morning or evening coffee. Being a full-time professor and mother to triplets, it's easy to get overwhelmed. This course was created with this in mind. You will learn the four functions of hr and the purpose of development and training. Also, how to effectively onboard passive and active candidates. How to lead during times of change. Use valid methods such as kp is and benchmarking to determine the success of employees. Swot and pestel analysis to assess the potential for success and failure of the organization. Warning: I'm a complete hr nerd. I love to learn about performance management and compensation systems. As a strategic unit within a company, I enjoy discussing hr the same way people talk about food or sports.
