Course Description

This class teaches you how to create 3D models with Blender 3D. This class focuses on the workflow and toolset of sculpting. This class is the first in a series that focuses on the fundamental aspects of sculpting. We also introduce some of the most common brushes for shaping and adding fine details to our models.

This goes beyond picking a brush. Each brush has its own set of parameters that control how it works, such as its radius or strength. We also introduce dynamic topology and lines-of-symmetry to speed up the sculpting process.

Students will be able .... by the end of this class

  • To set up Blender, access the sculpting workspace as well as the sculpting template
  • Use the draw brush to add and subtract from our model.
  • The dynamic topology option allows you to increase control over your brush strokes.
  • You can adjust the basic parameters of any brush, such as its size or strength.
  • Sculpt along the lines of symmetry for the objects
  • You can use a variety of brushes, including grease, snake hook, pinch, and elastic deform.

We hope you enjoy this class about Blender sculpting.
