Course Description

Animating doors in game-design is often done the same as other animations. This makes the doors very static and limited in motion (generally "open" or "close"). Unity's Hinge Joints make doors more realistic with dynamic swinging, breakable hinges, and spring-based Physics. This project-based course will teach you how to apply Hinge Joints on doors and other articulated objects in Unity. You will learn how spring, motor, and rotation-limit properties interact with other physics-based objects within your game. This guided project will introduce Unity concepts such as -Hinge Joint, -Fixed joint, -Rigidbody, -Basic Coding techniques including Triggers
