Course Description

Entrepreneurial managers looking to bring new products and services to market fast and with high quality customer insight are invited to this course. This course is suitable for all sizes of companies, from startups to large corporations to small to medium-sized businesses to larger enterprises. Many creative ideas can get lost in the boardroom, or become subject to groupthink or intra-organizational tensions. These challenges can be overcome with the help of this course.

The widely-used concept of design thinking is used, but we update and adapt it in order to improve business strategy and entrepreneurship. You will discover what a design strategya is and how it differs to traditional business strategy and design thinking. Also, you'll learn how it can help improve your existing products and services or bring new ideas.

This will include a deep dive into how these strategies are being applied in Australia's most modern financial institution, UBank and Swiss Re, a global reinsurance company. We will be speaking with the CEO of UBankas and their senior executives to learn how design thinking has been embedded in innovation. You will be able to use the tools you learn in this course to help with product development and design for your company or expand the product roadmap at an existing organization.
