Enhancing Rigs with Maya Muscle

This Maya tutorial will teach you how to integrate Maya Muscle into your rigging process. We will be using Maya's intuitive and robust muscle system to improve the realism of animated characters over the course of the tutorials. An animated rig with major deformation issues will be used as a starting point. We will then create a muscle rig that preserves volume in areas susceptible to collapse like the forearms and shoulders. You'll be able to modify Maya muscle shapes, and how to use follow-through effects to give the illusion of weight. We will also discuss how to integrate blend shapes with Maya Muscle.
