Course Description

This course focuses on the issue of food waste and how it can be reduced to benefit the environment. With growing concerns about climate change and the impact of the food system, consumers are becoming more interested in finding solutions to reduce food waste. This course aims to educate consumers on the importance of food waste and provide practical information on how they can be agents of change. The course explores the concept of circular economy and how it can be used to address the issue of food waste. Additionally, participants will have the opportunity to hear from companies that are making a difference in tackling food waste. Through this course, individuals will gain a better understanding of what food waste is and why it is important to reduce it. They will also learn strategies and techniques that they can implement personally and politically to help reduce food waste. This course is available in both English and Spanish, making it accessible to a wider audience. By taking this course, individuals will be equipped with the knowledge and tools to inspire others and make a positive impact in reducing food waste and creating a more sustainable future.
