Course Description

This tutorial will show you how to use floaters to create high-poly models in 3ds Max. We will learn how to create basic shapes using the sketches we have. Then, we will block out the basic shapes of the robot. The next step is to detail those basic shapes and to retopologize them. We will add floating geometry to them, and make some changes on the fly. This 3ds Max training will give you a solid understanding of high poly modeling and how to organize your final creation. Another artist will create the low poly model and use it for normal and occlusion mapping. 3ds Max 2012 required software
